Blessed are those who mourn , for they will be comforted. ( Matthew 5:4 ) The words of Jesus from the Sermon on the Mount echo with power and hope for anyone who has ever felt pain, loss, or deep sorrow. Jesus does not say sorrow will not come, He promises that in our pain, we will not be alone. 🌿 Mourning as part of life Every person faces moments of grief: the loss of a loved one, disappointments, illness, or failures. The world often has no answers except shallow comfort like, “Time heals all wounds” or “You just have to be strong.” But Christ goes deeper... He promises His presence and comfort. 🌿 Testimony A woman shared how, after the death of her husband, she thought she would never find peace again. Yet, in the deepest silence, while praying and reading the Bible, she felt the words of Matthew 5:4 as if they were written just for her: “Blessed are those who mourn...” That moment didn’t erase the pain, but it gave her the strength to believe that God had not abandoned her...
