FINDING GOD IN THE MIDDLE OF ANXIETY
Finding God in the Middle of Anxiety
Sometimes faith doesn’t look like peace,
it looks like trembling hands holding on to hope.
We live in a world that moves too fast,
that measures worth by how busy we are,
and that teaches us to hide the quiet ache in our chest
with filters, plans, and endless scrolling.
But what if, in the middle of all that noise,
God is still whispering
not from the mountaintop,
but from the middle of our anxiety?
🌸 When Peace Feels Out of Reach
Anxiety tells us that we are not enough,
that tomorrow is something to fear,
and that maybe God has forgotten.
But God never forgets.
He doesn’t measure us by how calm we seem,
but by how much we keep showing up - even in the storm.
Faith isn’t the absence of fear.
Faith is the moment you whisper:
“Lord, I trust You — even here.”
God Doesn’t Wait for You to Be Okay
Maybe you’ve prayed for peace and felt nothing.
Maybe you’ve read verses that didn’t change the ache.
Maybe you’ve whispered, “God, where are You?”
and all you heard was silence.
But silence doesn’t mean He’s gone.
It means He’s sitting beside you,
breathing the same air,
waiting for you to stop fighting yourself long enough to feel His presence.
God doesn’t come after you’ve fixed your life
He comes into your mess.
Small Ways to Find Him in the Noise
You can meet God in the smallest moments:
in a deep breath that reminds you you’re still here,
in a sunrise that doesn’t demand anything from you,
in a verse you’ve known forever that suddenly feels alive,
in kindness that reaches you unexpectedly.
These are not coincidences.
They’re God’s quiet ways of saying,
“I’m here. Even now.”
A Whisper for the Anxious Heart
You don’t need to conquer your anxiety to be loved by God.
You already are.
The fear, the heaviness, the racing mind , none of it drives Him away.
He doesn’t stand beyond your peace saying,
“Come find Me when you’re calm.”
He sits beside you saying,
“You can rest, even if your mind can’t.”
So tonight, when your thoughts won’t stop,
when your chest feels tight,
and when faith feels fragile ,
breathe and whisper,
“God, meet me here.”
He will.
He always does.
